As a Retirement Plan Operations Specialist, Hawa brings knowledge & enthusiasm to her transactional role at Advus. Hawa has been in the retirement/financial industry for 14 years. She has experience in many different areas of the retirement world-including but not limited to Client services, Contributions, Distributions, Investments, Reconciliation, & Data reporting.
With her client & customer first attitude, she brings aboard a strong passion for problem solving. She’s a team player with fresh energy, who’s perspective is seeing the glass half full.
Originally from West Africa, she then grew up in the Washington DC area. She spent time living in New York & Philadelphia to explore her passion for acting/modeling & is new to Florida. She’s an animal lover who enjoys lakes & beaches. Her hobbies are cooking, writing, singing, & dancing. She has recently gotten involved with non-profit charity work as the VP of the African Leaders Council of Orlando. She lives with her 2 sons, & a dog named Boss. She also has 2 cats named Kayenne & Pepper.
