Prior to joining the Advus team in 2022, Codie was a Senior Financial Advisor at FBMC Benefits Management. He has extensive experience consulting on qualified retirement plans and specializes in Multiple Employer Plans (MEPs) and Pooled Employer Plans (PEPs). He was instrumental in the development and management of several MEPs with assets in excess of $175 million.
Having majored in Theological Studies with an emphasis in ethics, impacting peoples’ lives in a positive way will always be Codie’s driving motivation. Codie found a passion and avenue of affecting people’s lives by helping them prepare for a successful retirement, largely through the defined contribution qualified plan space. Understanding ERISA as well as investments, Codie is uniquely positioned to help plan sponsors improve their plans while helping them mitigate any risk they may retain. Codie believes strongly that defined contribution plans will be the most important aspect of most peoples’ financial well-being and finding ways to enhance the effectiveness of these plans has become his vocation.
Codie currently resides in Stuart, FL with his two wonderful daughters. He enjoys coaching their soccer teams, boating and snorkeling.
