Mitchell Lamoriello, CFP®
Mitchell has innovation in his bones. As a recent graduate, he understands the unique challenges and circumstances of the next generation, and is passionate about discovering new ways his family firm can help serve a changing investor and investment marketplace.
As an investment specialist, Mitchell sits on the Advus’ investment committee. He also is responsible for assisting in the firm’s qualitative and quantitative due diligence process and contributing to the research on capital markets and global economic conditions. His knowledge base in investments provides him with a strong foundation to help answer client questions and navigate issues with their portfolio. As he spends more time with clients, Mitchell understands the importance of achieving goals and has expanded his knowledge, skills and approach beyond investments to encompass holistic financial planning.
Before joining Advus, Mitchell was a research analyst at LAMCO Advisory Services, Inc. (now Advus) and an asset management analyst for PFM Asset Management. He received a BS in finance from the University of Florida.
Mitchell is a member of the Financial Planning Association® and the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors. He is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional and earned his Series 65. He also is president of the Orlando Alumni Chapter of Sigma Chi and vice president of scholarship for the Central Florida Gator Club.
Mitchell lives in Winter Park, Florida, with his wife, Danielle. His hobbies include playing basketball, distance running, cooking and watching Florida Gator sports.
